Imran khan

The Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has created a net of duplicitous standards about the world’s Muslims. To him, Muslims of China are not Muslims, yet he shades crocodiles tear for the Muslims from the rest of the world. What a naked case duplicitously. He fails to condemn China; for its inhumane torture, persecution, annihilation, massacre & marginalisation, but he makes audacious comments about the French President’s comments.

Last month on the 30th of October, Imran Khan commented on the issue of Islamophobia and attacked French President Emmanuel Macron over his recent remarks on Islamist radicalisation. Observers from all over the world have raised their eyebrows in dismay seeing his level of complacency and hypocrisy, which is very selective as he has remained very tight-lipped on Chinese treatment of Muslim minorities in the Uighur region.

Imran Khan has not got the means to infuriate his bread provider China! Can he? Surely he can’t. Pakistan’s Saviour is now China, no wonder The PM can not annoy China by saying anything about Chinese Muslims.

Macron’s remarks did not go well with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who slammed the French President, saying that he has “chosen to provoke Muslims deliberately.

Khan, many times, has been asked about his views on the Chinese brutalising the three million Uighurs. However, he ignored all the questions and remained silent on the issue that has been condemned by most of the world. According to Birmingham Star.

Meanwhile, Washington Post journalist Ishaan Tharoor called the Pakistan Prime Minister a “hypocrite”.

It’s really hard to find a greater hypocrite in all this than Imran Khan. He claims to not know enough about what’s happening across his border in Xinjiang to speak about it , but has no qualms broad-brushing the situation in Europe,” he tweeted.

Prime Minister Khan’s selective outrage against Islamophobia has, time and again, received a lot of criticism.

When it comes to China’s treatment of Muslims, Pakistan has been silent, and when asked to comment on it, the Pakistan PM tries to brush it aside, saying that there is a lot going on in his own country. Tweeted by Ishaan Tharoor of the Washington Post commented above.

China has encamped over a million Muslims, including Uigurs and others, into detention camps and prisons. However, China denies these reports constantly. Saying these are camps for providing vocational training to these marginal communities.

People in the internment camps have described being subjected to forced political indoctrination, torture, beatings, and denial of food and medicine. They say they have been prohibited from practising their religion or speaking their language.
